Lappeenranta Airport is only two kilometres from the city centre. The distance to Imatra and the Russian border is only 30 kilometres.
There are plenty of parking spaces near the airport for both short- and long-term parking. In front of the terminal, there are 170 parking spaces. There is usually always space, and no advance reservations are required. The car park is only a few dozen metres' walk from the terminal, so it is easy to bring in your luggage.
Disabled parking is available in marked spaces in front of the terminal. The disabled parking permit must be displayed when parking there.
In front of the airport, there are 20 one-hour parking spaces for people visiting the restaurants at the airport and dropping off or picking up passengers. A parking disc must be displayed when parking in these spaces.
Luggage trolleys are available outside the airport next to the main entrance.
Affordable parking
Parking is easy for a few hours or even weeks. You can pay for parking at the machine next to the airport building. You can pay with coins and most credit cards.
Remember to display the parking ticket inside the windscreen.
